APPSinvent Inc. has experience in building secured HL7 interfaces for various labs and practice management. We have used HL7 interface to send DFT messaging for payment processing.
In the HL7 Standard, the Detailed Financial Transactions (DFT) messages describe a financial transaction transmitted between the DSS/Order Filler and the Charge Processor.
In HL7 messaging, the trigger events for a DFT message include:
- Procedure ordered
- Procedure scheduled
- Procedure completed
